With Chelsea slipping to an unexpected defeat at home to Arsenal last night, Liverpool will reclaim top spot if they do not lose the game against West Ham.

A draw is not good enough while a victory will open a 3 points gap between Chelsea and Liverpool and 8 points clear off Man Utd.

This is a must win game for Liverpool. Many will remember that the Reds missed the chance to go top after drawing with Fulham 0-0 when Chelsea themselves also drew 0-0 at home to Newcastle.

If Liverpool are to prove they are genuine title contender, they must not flop tonight. Anything less than 3 points will surely cast question if Liverpool possess the mentality to cope with the pressure.

Each of the Liverpool players playing in this game know the advantage with 3 points.

I would expect nothing less than a win. I would go for a 1-0 hard fought win for Liverpool.
