Liverpool v Man Utd - My Preview

After the International break, the BPL resume this week with an intriging match at Anfield. Liverpool will host the defending champion.

Liverpool's form this season has been poor while Man Utd is also trying to find their feet. Liverpool's preparation has been hit by the absence of Gerrard and Torres while the Red Devils will be without Cristaino Ronaldo.

This match is set for the battle of two former Spurs strikers who has contributed to Spurs success in recent years. Robbie Keane has moved to Merseyside while Berbatov has switched to Old Trafford. It is interesting to see who will score. Keane's performance for Liverpool has been far from average while Berbatov could be handed his debut. This game will also feature Liverpool's new signing Albert Riera.

Liverpool has not won against Man Utd under Rafa in the BPL, this trend look set to continue with the absence of the skipper and Torres. My money will go to Man Utd to win 2-0.

My other bold predictions:
Blackburn v Arsenal 1-2

Fulham v Bolton 1-1

Newcastle v Hull 4-0

Portsmouth v Boro 2-0

West Brom v West Ham 2-1

Wigan v Sunderland 1-1

Man City v Chelsea 1-1

Stoke v Everton 1-2

Spurs v Villa 3-2
