Liverpool v Stoke - My Preview

Liverpool welcome new boys Stoke City at Anfield after two impressive victories againt Man Utd and Marseille.

On the other hand, Stoke must be demoralized after conceding a late goal in their 2-3 defeat to Everton last weekend. Stoke City came back from 2 goals down to draw 2-2 but to lose the game.

This is the kind of match that Liverpool simply need to win in order for them to become genuine title contender. With Chelsea meeting Man Utd the next day, Liverpool must win and hope that both their rival draw the game.

With Gerrard and Torres back from injury, Liverpool should not have problem seeing off the new boys. Stoke will pack their defence and Liverpool must be patient if they are to breach open Stoke's defence.

If Keane starts the game alongside Torres, I will back Keane to open his Liverpool account. My take: 3-0 to Liverpool.

My other predictions:

Sunderland v Boro 2-1
West Ham v Newcastle 1-1
Blackburn v Fulham 2-1
Bolton v Arsenal 1-1
West Brom v Villa 0-2
Chelsea v Man Utd 1-1
Spurs v Wigan 2-1
Man City v Portsmouth 2-1
Hull v Everton 1-1
